Each week our buyer travels to the BC Mainland to hand select the flowers and plants from our local and imported growers. This extra time and travel shows in the superior quality floral products we provide. Our designers and our customers are particular and want the best possible flowers, arrangements and gift choices to suit their needs and we are commited to providing high quality and creative designs.

Flowering and tropical live plants are a large part of our business and we at The Garden Gate Florist go the distance, literally off coast to hand pick our potted plants to ensure the best quality, colors, size and price. In house we maintain an ever changing flow of floral and tropical plants depending on the season and availability but you can rest assured that we'll have something in store for you thats fresh and beautiful. They're even more lovely when gift wrapped for that special occasion.
Orchid plants fly in and out of the store rather quickly and this is due to the fact that we also hand select our orchids from one of the top award winning orchids growers of the northwest. We bring in a variety of colors, sizes , species and can order in specific requests if available. Our orchids are outstanding in quality, maturation and care. We never let an orchid leave our shop unprotected in cold weather. These are an excellent low maintenance and long lasting plant given for many different reasons as they are a popular favorite.
The Garden Gate Florist stocks a wide range of silk flowers and artificial plants as well. There are certain reasons and situations in home decor when fresh or live plants will not meet the customers needs. Cottage weekenders, busy people and others are often looking for good quality artificial florals to enhance their style as well as being maintenance free. We are happy to provide you great quality and variety. We can also fulfill any specific requests you may have and can of course make any custom artificial arrangements in your color and floral choices to compliment your interior decor.
